A unique Colorado ranch experience, Vagabond Ranch is surrounded by thousands of acres of National Forest. Enjoy hiking, fly fishing, mountain biking, four wheeling or snowmobiling on nearby trails, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and much more. If you have been dreaming of a unique mountain experience, look no further. Vagabond Ranch is the perfect place for you, your Family & Friends to vacation in secluded mountain splendor. The Vagabond Ranch is located in Grand County, Colorado, and consists of approximately 78.22 acres at the 9,300-foot level.
For the winter season, Vagabond Ranch becomes a remote "hut" experience. Guests will need to cross country ski or snowmobile 3 miles to reach the Ranch from Highway 125. Guests will need to bring sleeping bags and heat the home with the wood stove (cut and stacked wood is on property). There is no running water during the winter months so water will need to be brought in or snow can be melted on the wood stove. There is an outdoor composting toilet. This is for adventure seeking skiers or snowmobilers! An isolated location, privacy, access to national forest trails for snowmobiling or skiing...ready for an adventure?
Vagabond Ranch House is a comfortable vacation retreat offering mountain rustic furnishings. The house is designed to accommodate large groups and gatherings. Five bedrooms and large open floor plan provides comfortable accommodations with plenty of space. Sleeps up to 15. Overlook House may be rented in addition to Ranch House. Overlook House sleeps up to 7.
